Q. Two of my family members had children. I was going to send gifts , but I'm not sure what I should give a 8 week old or a 6 month old boy for a present. Any ideas?
Answer
For eight weeks and six month of children give some bright colored plastic toys that are okay to bite a little bit. Children of that age will put anything in their mouth. Bright colors are good for intellectual growth of children of that stage. Chewable rubber like material may be better than plastic. Ask people in a toy store near you for a better pick. Bright colored plastic balls can be a good idea for boys. Or you can buy a small car or small truck for their little more older time. If you are not looking for a toy by a piece of dress that they can wear for at least six months.

Answer
not very much as he won't have a clue what's going on. my son was 6 months at xmas and a few things he got were clothes (always good), books (he loves them!), toys to attach to his buggy, more age appropriate toys... we got him a star toy that he still loves (14 months) and plays with daily, a buggy toy and some clothes. this year we're not going overboard either as we have to get on a ryan air plane in order to get home and extra weight just isn't affordable with ryan air (£16 per bag... and then £8 just to check it in)
