Is there going to be a 2009 Disney Channel Games?

liyah

every summer, the Disney Channel Stars all come together and compete against eachother in game competitons in DisneyWorld..i havent heard anything about it ? are they having it anymore?

Answer
There was just a conflict with the stars schedules this year...concerts, movies, etc. Unless you are with disney entertainment management there is no way of knowing if they are having the games next year or not. Any answer that you see here is a guess.

If you want to see the games next year, go to disney.com click on contact us and write an email.

teenage girls at disneyworld?

What resorts would you recommend for two teenage girls at Disneyworld?
I really have no restrictions/preferences. (just a pool:]) lol.

Answer
As a recent teen, I particularly love the Boardwalk. It's on the pricey side, but it's got so much to do. When you walk through the lobby to the other side, you can see the entire Boardwalk, which is set like it's in the 1930s--there's restaurants, shops, and little stands for arcade/carnival games and more! At night, it really comes alive. There are street performers who do magic tricks or stunts that will take your breath away. On special occasions (i.e. New Years Eve, 4th of July, etc) there are cool dance parties and such. However, the Atlantic Dance Hall and Jellyrolls (Boardwalk's two clubs/bars) are 21 and older so you can't get in there. It's too bad because it seems like a lot of fun. There's also two pools: the big pool and the quiet pool. The big pool is called Luna Park, and it's really fun! (http://www.kingdom-travel.com/Walt_Disney_World_Resorts/_ResortAssets/BoardWalk_Villas/Disney_BoardWalk_Villas_Pool.jpg). There's a great slide and the poolside food and drinks are unbelievable (I recommend the Pina Colada). It's my favorite hotel because I always need something to do. I love being able to go out at night and just walk up and down the Boardwalk. It's very entertaining! Plus the rooms are very nice.

The best part is that the resort is about a five minute walk to either EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios! You can just walk out of the hotel, stroll down the Boardwalk (no need to walk on the streets) and get to those parks easily! There's also boat transportation (the Friendships) that can take you there as well. I don't recommend them though--they take a long time because they make stops at Swan and Dolphin and the Yacht and Beach Club resorts). Walking is so much nicer! Also, if you want to head over to the Magic Kingdom, you can easily walk to EPCOT and take the monorail from there. You won't have to worry about renting a car. The only places you'll need to take the bus for are Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, and Downtown Disney.

Hope this helps!
