Do conservatives ever get tired of being wrong?

Ohio CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN Senator Rob Portman changed his position on gay marriage.

Now that he knows his son is gay, he supports gay marriage. Just like Dick Cheney did.

Wow. They just barely got it. I learned about fairness and equality when I was a toddler.

Dreaded rear admiral,

I think most liberals learn about equality and fairness when they are toddlers. Conservatives don't get it until they are in their 40s, if ever.

Wow. Every other toddler I've seen screams when you take away their toys. You probably composed sonnets at 2 1/2, too.

When would you hire a nanny?

I'm going to be a teen mum and I obviously haven't finished school! I will need to hire a nanny and maybe enroll in a daycare? I don't want to rely on my family and friends for childcare services. I'm wanting to get prepared in the next month so that for most of the pregnancy I can focus on school. I was wondering if this sounded OK to you? I'm due around October 8 which is the beginning of term 4 so, I would finish school for 2013 at the end of term 3. I would be going back to school at the beginning of 2014. My dad wants me to hire a nanny a few days a week, so we came to an agreement of Nanny from 7am-5pm on Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday and the Daycare from 8am-4pm Thursday and Friday. These times are not exact/definite and we have already arranged the school absence. What do you guys think? Is it ok to put my child Daycare and have him/her stay with a nanny? Money is not an issue for my family.

Thanks...Please No Hate!!!
One of the reasons that I chose both was because I want my child to socialize at a young age etc. (Day Care) and I want my child to have a bond with an adult outside the family forever (I myself had a nanny and I love her dearly, as I grew up she and I were extremely close and still are)

Answer
To me a nanny and daycare is a bit much. When the baby is a toddler he/she will have rules at daycare, rules with the nanny and you. That's to much. Hire a nanny full time if you can afford it. She can take your child to story times at a library (great for making friends and fun for the kids), zoo, gym class, park, etc. your kid will still be around other kids. Also with a nanny, your kid can nap in his/her own bed, will have own toys, same routine and tons of one on one time., can have play dates .

Nanny over 20 years old. $10-12 hr.

I'm a nanny. The kids and I stay busy doing crafts, playing sports, going to story times, gym class, park, scavenger hunts, I teach them there basics needed for kindergarten , they have made friends from gym and story time, we go to Kid centers that are ok for toddlers as young as 1 up to elementary age, they are on a good schedule and we do change the schedule up at times so there not always doing the same thing, etc......
