What is your ferret's favorite toy?

Waterfowl

I'm trying to come up with some great toy ideas for my two baby boys, they just turned 1 year at the end of May and are getting bored with some of their old toys. I recently found Ralph, one of my boys, playing with a little rubber coinpurse I got at the bank for free! They're so easily entertained, but when I want to think of a toy it seems impossible. Any ideas? ♥
You all are helping a ton! The stairs would be so fun, and Ralph's current favorite toy is the tennis ball. He runs around carrying it everywhere!

Answer
My two fuzzies are so cheap when it comes to toys. They love old socks (with knots tied in them), card boxes, plastic bags and tunnels. They also like the used hoses from my grandpa's oxygen. Just remember to use common sense, if they chew and swallow it don't let them play with it. My little girls likes fury cat mice, she hides them everywhere (in shoes, the dirty clothes, in the pillow cases). They also like the PetStages brand toys from PetSmart or PetCo, their favorite are the orange rubbery worms (cat toy) and the blue bones (puppy toy). The only bad thing is that they can be expensive, about $5 each. My ferrets also like playing games. My girl likes fetch, well she doesn't bring it back but it's pretty close to fetch. My boy LOVES magic carpet rides. I lay out a blanket or towel and put him on it them drag it around the room.

If your ferrets are becoming bored with their toys, take half of them and put them up. Rotate them every 4-6 months. Your fuzzies will think they're new toys. You can also wash the toys so they smell different.

But remember the best toy for your ferret is you! My ferrets would rather play with me than each other.

Cheap, cute boy clothes?

Jamie's Mo

I just found out at 3 am I having a boy!! However, everyone with clothes and such to give me just had girls. Does anyone have any ideas on where to find cute, affordable (I'm a single mom) boy clothes that aren't covered in animals or balls or "got milk" stuff? Or really just clothes in general.

Thanks in advance!
I cant really afford new clothes, and they don't really wear them out when they're babies

Answer
I get my kid's clothes on ebay, garage sales, thrift shops, goodwill and such. When you search on ebay go to the category and size you are looking for and above the auctions in blue is where you can search different ways and do price+shipping equals lowest and you can find some good deals. I'm actually selling 0-12 months of boy clothes now for good prices. Old navy and marshalls have their clearance sales racks and I find stuff for cheap even starting at $1-$2 cheap. Also check out to see if your state does a jbf sale. JBF stands for Just Between Friends and it's tons of moms who bring everything from toys, cribs, walkers, strollers and clothes from newborn up to size 7 for kids and they put it in a big building and you shop them and they have some awesome prices! I just went to the one in my town last weekend and got 18 items for $68 and my kids now have winter coats, halloween costumes, shoes and clothes...plus the brands were gap, gymboree, osh kosh and mudd. If you would like to see any baby stuff I have up just contact me.
Good Luck!
