Toys R us .. maybe.

Are there any 'fix it' toys for toddlers?
Q. I don't mean a tool belt or a tool bench, but actual toys that need 'fixed'.
I came across a John Deere tractor that had a screwdriver and another tool stored in the top. The truck would 'break' and ask you to 'fix' something, requiring the child to pretend to 'fix' it.
While the Amazon reviews all said the toy was great, nearly all of them said it broke way too easily. Do you know of,or have any toy that will let my son 'fix it'.
Tools Holland. We need tools. I let him play (supervised) with my screwdriver while he 'fixes' his cars.

I wish this toy were more durable. It is perfect. It asks the child to check the tires, gas, whatever and requires them to 'fix' it.

I don't know if I understand, does it come apart and the child actually puts it back together or do they just pretend?
Anyway, we have a lot of building toys.
Lego/Duplo, obviously

Oh, and my son's favourite, Geomags: http://the-gadgeteer.com/assets/thinkgeek-geomag-geopanel13.jpg
Duplo, Tinker Toys, and building blocks might be easier for a 2 year old. Linkin Logs and Geomags are maybe suitable too. The other ones are a bit too fussy I think.
Why not just get him a set of tools and let him fix whatever he wants to fix?
There are pretend tool desks that come with things that can be screwed in and stuff. Like this one...

...that have things that can screwed in and hammered in, is that what you mean?
