TOUCH MY P
I've always thought a British accent made people sound more intelligent even if they were, in reality, a complete moron. I at least want to give people the "illusion" that I'm capable of tying my own shoelaces.
Answer
Just act snobby. Then the accent will come naturally.

What Do You Make Of The British Accent?
Bernie Dem
I was brought up and still live in the center of London. When i go abroad they say i talk very posh and that i am a snob? Ahha what do you make of the accent?
Answer
First off, there is no "British" accent. Not only are the British isles made up of 3 different countries (England, Scotland and Wales) there are dozens of different regions with distinct accents (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Yorkshire, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, London, Surrey, Bristol, Essex and Cardiff just to name a few). As a Brit, you should really not be encouraging the idea that only one British accent exists!
The accent which I presume you are referring to is known as "Received Pronunciation" (RP) and is spoken by less than 2% of the British population.
As for my opinion on it... well, I actually have the same accent, so for me it's perfectly normal. I can understand why people might think we are posh because the RP accent is associated with the Royal family and upper classes, etc. But "posh" and "snobby" are certainly not the same thing, and any person who doesn't distinguish between the two needs to find themselves a dictionary.
Hope I helped ;) xx
