Any funny moments with your kids or someone else's kids?
Well my neighbours came over, their son is 9 but mentally delayed. He thought it would be funny to ring '000' on my phone and he told them that he had killed someone and the body was in our house. He didn't tell us and we had the police rock up at our house with weapons and etc we were stunned and shocked. They searched our house and the child explained that he didn't mean to ring and it was just a game. After clearing that we didn't have a dead body in our house the police gave a talk to the kid and laughed it off. Haha that was hilarious but scary.
Also I am volunteering on In a child care centre and the kids come up with silly things like ' I used to have a dog. But now it's in jail' or etc lol

Why are there no good kid movies anymore?
Dawkins
I mean, is it just me or all the kid movies either non existent or terrible now? Like I mean, the 90s, we had it good for kid movies.
Lion King -ultimate classic
Toy Story
Beauty in the Beast
Mickey Mouse
Pinocchio
Bambi
Snow White
Aladdin
Am I just biased or are there nothing good out there for kids anymore? Man, all of these movies were classics for kids.
Toy Story 3 doesn't count because its part of the first Toy Story. And Finding Nemo is definitley a good movie but that was just one in 2005. i mean... look there deff seems to be a lack of good kid movies these days.
Mulan....Tarzan. I mean do I not have a point?
Like I think Finding Nemo was a great movie but it was just kind of like one in a while you know? Like in the 90s i think there were great kid movies everywhere? At the end of the day, you think I'm wrong, kinda right or totally right?
Answer
I don't know what you're talking about. Obviously, they're not making "classic" movies right now, because the movies they currently make aren't old enough to be "classic."
Pixar cranks out amazing movies like nobody's business. WALL-E and Up were both spectacular, as were Toy Story 3, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, and Brave. Just because they're not hand-drawn 2D animation doesn't mean they're not wonderful films.
Disney has had some pretty great movies recently, too. Tangled was really excellent, and The Princess and the Frog was a nice nod to the "old way" of doing things. I don't know if you've seen Wreck-It Ralph yet, but that was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time, for kids or for adults. Also, Treasure Planet wasn't all that long ago, but it's one of my favorite Disney movies. And don't forget Lilo and Stitch!
What about Megamind? It didn't have quite the same creativity as, say, The Lion King, but it was hilarious. Or Despicable Me? So creative and adorable! Or ParaNorman, which had (I think) the first-ever openly gay lead character in cartoon history.
Every movie I just listed came out in the last ten years. The years for the movies you listed are as follows:
The Lion King - 1994
Toy Story - 1995
Beauty and the Beast - 1991
Mickey Mouse - not a movie, but was created in 1928
Pinocchio - 1940
Bambi - 1942
Snow White - 1937
Aladdin - 1992
Mulan - 1998
Tarzan - 1999
You can't count movies made over 50 years ago if you're comparing the 1990's to now. You just can't. Sure, some of them came out in the 1990's. It was a great decade. But so were the 2000's. And so is right now. I'm not even counting all the great live-action movies for kids that have been made lately (who doesn't love Pirates of the Carabbean?)
I just love kid's movies. They always turn out so happily, and in a world full of stuff that tends to end badly, it's nice to forget about all that for a while. I do love the classic Disney movies (Aladdin is my favorite), but I'm not going to get stuck in the past. Don't discount all the movies that have been made recently just because they're different. They're still every bit as heartwarming and imaginative as the "classics" you remember.
