There is this new magazine out called Cookie.They advertise cool and different clothes and toys that you don't see in every store.Personaly,I think Old Navy has pretty cool stuff for kids and stores like Marshalls or T.J.Maxx carry some creative and fun toys,books,puzzles and games.

I saw a big box of GI Joes at the dollar store but then I was thinking about the small parts and I wouldn't want my lil cousins to choke or get stabbed in the eye. So what would be some age appropriate toys?

toddlers will put just about anything in their mouth. So, to be on the safe side, I would stay away from small parts and painted parts also. It would also be a good idea to get him something that is educational and that you can expand as he gets older.
