Any ideas for Mickey Mouse party favors for kids under age 2?

libramoon9

I am having a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse birthday party for my daughter's 2nd birthday and there will only be two other kids there but they are about 5 to 6 months younger then my daughter and I am trying to keep everything Mickey Mouse and Friends related but I can't for the life of me think of any party favors to get for them. All the actual party favor stuff you can buy is not age appropriate, like small bouncy balls, stickers and stuff like that will all go straight in their mouths lol. I was thinking about getting them each a Micky Mouse sippy cup and maybe a plush character, but can you think of anything else that you think a child this age would enjoy that can be Mickey Mouse?

Answer
I think the the sippy cup and plush character ideas are good ones.

Disney Pook a looz are adorable but a little expensive for a favour:

But these Pook a looz topplers are considerably cheaper.

You could use cups like these at the party:

and then send them home as party favours.

Same for bowls:

A spoon and fork set will come in handy:

Board books are good and inexpensive if you give each child a couple of books from the set:

Bath toys are another good idea:

I need an alternative to cake for a toddler's 2 year birthday?

Stephanie

My son isnt a "sweets" kinda kid. He enjoys all kinds of fruit however. I have seen how you can carve a basket out of a watermelon and think something similar would be a cute alternative like a car or truck or something "boyish". Any ideas how to do it websites would be great! Thanks!

Answer
Listen to Christopher! It does take alot of time and practive to do crafty carvings! Your two year old wont remember the time and effort you put into such crafting. If you are having a party, why dont you have cake anyway, however, add his favorite fruit somehow in a creative manner. For some kids, it is all about the presentation! He will be too busy with his guests and toys to worry about anything else! Try the following website for some kid friendly ideas! Good luck! (I just went through a two year old birthday myself, and chose the easy route of ordering a cake from the nearest bakery! She didnt eat cake, but she enjoyed blowing out the candles and picking the Minnie Mouse toy toppings off of the cake!)
