We built a nice, inexpensive store for a client using AspDotNetStoreFront - they have the ability to upload products from a spreadsheet from the toy distributor and we were able to bulk upload product photos. Overall it took us less than a day to build the store & populate it with about 5,000 products. for a small catalog - (under 100 products) nopCommerce is free - but ncurrently does not offer a bulk upload.
