what are baby registry's for?

Mrs. Torre

im a new mom to be and have been on babies r us and stuff
and seen the registry button just want details

Answer
Baby registries, my saviour .

They are something most stores that carry quality baby items have, where you can make a list of baby things you'd like or need, for now, in the future, whatever . I have one at Toys R Us for both of my kids that I keep updated because I'm one of those people who knows what my kids need or want but not so big on being given things .

Do you guys think I am a spoiled kid?

onsobored

my friends say im spoiled because i always have money to spend on myself and them(i get them 30+ dollor presents for christmases, birthdays, and cards for every holiday i can think of. (the friends i am talking about are 4 BEST friends that ive known since kindergarden) i dont have a scheduled chore list, all my mom asks me to do is wash the dishes and clean my room(i dont get allowance) and gives me 10 dollors every time i pamper her for an hour(wich im happy to do, i love my mom.) and when im with my dad who i see every other weekend(two weekends a month, div. parents) my dad takes me on little adventures to to stores in LA mainly Amoeba records. i dont do that every time im with him. also, my mother gives me 20 bucks a week for food at school (3-5 bucks a day depending on what/if i buy) and some weeks i bring my own lunch and secretly save the money away. does all this make me spoiled? i dont feel like i flaunt with all my money by wearing designer lables. i dress in a band shirt and jeans everyday and i dont wear any makeup besides eye makeup, i dont do anything with my hair. my biggest investment is my vinyl and cd collection.

sorry guys if this is a lot to read, i am really bored, but interested in your opinions.
to the user "gurunvelbar" i actually do drink a lot of water. and i dont eat a lot of junk food, mainly because i wasn't raised. my dad is greek and my mom is mexican so that means a lot of home-cooked food. not saying that i dont eat junk food at all. i do have the occasional corn nut =]
*raised to
oh and the depression thing, i think it's genetic because my dad is bipolar(hes not as out of control as a lot of people think when i say that) and my brother also has a chemical imbalance. hes 21.

Answer
Well I am not a teenager but I do have 4 kids and even though you mentioned a lot of stuff. This is stuff that your parents want you to have. If your friends think you are spoiled maybe ir is becasue they are jealous of what you do have. FYI. My kids also always have enough in their purse for an outfit receive cash and goodys for various reasons. All 4 of my kids also have Lcd hanging on their walls with different gaming stations. Sometime teenage girls say mean things to each other out of jealousy and spite. Your parents have made a consious effort to ensure you have a good life. Enjoy it
