what is the type of sax that alacranes musical uses?

I'm not super familiar with Alacranes musical, but in "Por Tu Amor" it's an Eb Alto sax.

The alto is what most beginners learn on, and it is smaller and higher pitched than a tenor or bari sax.

Band would be a great place to learn the basics, but you will probably never get to play in the Mariachi style that Alacranes Musical does. Your best bet, if you wanted to do that, is to get a private teacher (could also be great to help you learn the basics!), or find a local Mariachi group to bum around with. LOL
