My daughter is 3 1/2 ...I'm starting Christmas shopping and everything I've written on this list screams "fun" and there is ONE educational toy on it... I can't really find any that doesn't seem too complicated for her ... she's very smart but I need something that's fun but something that's educational at the same time. Any suggestions????

My son turned 3 last month and he's been having a lot of fun with a Bright Baby brand sticker book. It's hard to describe, but the book is full of pages of just silhouettes, and then there are pages of stickers in the back, and you have to find the right sticker that matches each silhouette and stick it on. Once you get all the stickers in place, it forms a big picture. It's been great for his motor skills, spatial skills, concentration, etc. And not too expensive, either.....

My daughter is only 2, but i have a three year old niece and at the moment she is into dress up ie princess crowns and fairy wings etc. She also had a large dolls house bought for her birthday with the slightly larger dolls inside (its from 3 yrs +). She will play with it for hours. She is also into playing with her baby dolls and buggy. I suppose you could say it is very much pretend pay and role playing. My brother will be getting her a kitchen for christmas and i just know she'll love it. She is not into barbie dolls however, im sure in a year or two that'll change.
