They want to make 3 things (one a piece for the older girls) one chose cookies but what else (for a 7 and 11 year old)

Answer
I have 3 kids, they are home schooled and the 2 older kids (5 and 10) love to cook. Here is something fun you can make:

Very easy Apple pie:

6 large apples diced
3tbsp. butter
1/4 c honey
1tsp. cinnamon
pie shell
you can get a good pie shell recipe here ( http://www.elise.com/recipes/archives/001127perfect_pie_crust.php )

In a skillet mix all ingredients and cook over medium heat until the apples are tender (about 10 minutes). You can add a pinch of ground cloves for extra spice.

After you bake your pie crust bottom for 10 minutes, pour in your filling. Take remaining pie crust dough and roll out. Cut festive shapes using cookie cutters and arrange on top of your apples. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes more or less depending on your oven. You want the shapes on top to be a nice golden color. You can make your own whipped topping using heavy whipping cream and 2 tbsp. honey. Beat the cream until it is thickened, but not too much or you'll get butter. Add the honey and beat slightly to mix. Viola! Your easy apple pie is complete!

Do your kids cook food? If they do what meals?

Q. Do they like cooking healthy meals or unhealthy

Answer
My kids cook, usually lunch or dinner. And they like cooking healthy food and sometimes unhealthy(like cake or brownies).
